"This is a truly luxurious lake house in a perfect spot. Very spacious, very clean, with a set of welcoming soft drinks, snacks and chocolates. We skied and skated on the lake and ran our Korte race. The host was very accommodating to our special requests at no additional charge. Highly recommended."

"My wife and I chose this property for a weekend getaway in spring. The cabin was tucked away, just off the main road to Hayward, secluded but easy to find. During our stay we had morning coffee on the screened in porch, reading and enjoying the views on the outdoor deck, and also spent time on the bench on the dock watching the visiting swans (we saw 22 one day!). "Four families stayed for a weekend, and it was perfect. Super clean and well stocked house, they thought of everything. Adults had space and the teens enjoyed theirs. Management was quick to respond to texts about wifi (just needed a reboot) and they were flexible with our check in and check out time since we were in town for a hockey tournament. We would all stay here again."

"Our group of 9 adults and 4 babies and toddlers just had our yearly winter gathering for the second time at the sandalwood retreat and it was just as fabulous as last year. The rooms are diverse but fantastic and offer all the comforts you could want- pack and plays fit in the closet, ensuits in three of them, comfortable beds, extra linens and they are all super quiet, even when there's a ruckus in the livingroom. The annex over the garage was a great spot for the childless among us to retreat...

"My boyfriend and I stayed at this cabin for our anniversary trip. The cabin was in a beautiful location right on the lake with only 1 visible neighbor. Neighborhood was quiet. Cabin very clean and had everything you need in a cabin. Beds very comfy! Only about 10 mins outside of town for easy access. Cozy, relaxing, romantic. So romantic that my boyfriend decided to propose to me on this trip 😀 This spot will forever hold a special place in our hearts. Highly recommend!"
