Main bedroom has a queen bed, and second bedroom has one full and one single, bunk style. There is a full size futon in the living room. Kitchen has refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, toaster, and coffee maker (Keurig pods provided). Hayward lake is about 75 feet from the front door of cabin and there is a dock. Setting is nice among the pine trees with your own fire pit available for use. The beds were very comfortable, and there was enough space for all of us. It was wonderful to be so close to the lake and be able swim and to run back inside for lunch or a snack without having to pack a cooler and drive somewhere. The location was a double edged sword because on the one hand, it was conveniently so close to grocery stores and downtown shops, but on the other hand the music on a loop from the mini golf place nearby, the traffic over the bridge, and the ambulance sirens were constantly reminding us we were not in any sort of peaceful oasis as we tried to relax by the water. Cabin was the perfect size! There was enough privacy for the 16 year old in the loft, yet still kept him in the group. The cabin was very clean, tidy and well stocked with pots, pans, utensils, etc. and that allowed us to stay focused on fun! Great location, with a beautiful view of the lake all day! Close to the Hayward Amusement Center for our 4 year old.The hosts were prompt and courteous during our stay when we needed anything. Very quiet area, laid back, right in town, but still on the edge and away from the hustle and bustle.
