We had the best reunion. It was a 10 minute drive to the ski resort and endless entertainment once we were at home. The house is very clean. We had 21 people and never felt cramped. There were some small issues with the house that we had to deal with, but it is a rental so I suppose that’s to be expected. The host was responsive to the issues in a timely manner. We’d stay here again, it was great for a large group with older kids with lots of activities that we enjoyed; pool table, dart board, hot tub, chess set and board games. ##### J K. The host is very responsive and accommodating, the hot tub was fantastic, and the house was very clean. The only issue we ran into was there is a large presence of bees in the house. We seen close to a hundred bees/yellow jackets across the house with one of the guests stung on the back of her leg. The host was very accommodating with us as far as check-in and check-out, getting back to us in a timely manner. The kitchen had most everything we needed. Host left a nice array of snacks for us. Each bedroom had it's own bathroom, which was a huge plus. Hot-tub was nice, we didn't use the sauna. We loved that the pool table, ping pong table and foosball table were on the main floor so everyone could get in the action.Since it was mid-July, the house did get quite warm throughout the days without air-conditioning. The host had many fans throughout the house to help with this. The house does need a bit of maintenance. A couple windows were without screens, making it extra hot since we couldn't open them in those bedrooms at night. The deck also had a dangerous set of stairs with no railing. We really had to watch the little kiddos. All in all it was a fabulous trip and this house fit our needs well. ##### CA M. Every room was comfortable with its own bathroom. It was clean, had every appliance & kitchen necessity you may need. There are many games & amenities that allow guests to feel free to do what they want while still engaging with a group! It was such cozy cabin feel. The house is HUGE! We had a group of 11 guys and there was plenty of space for everyone. Also, the pictures don’t fully capture the breathtaking view from the main living area. We skied 3 days at Steamboat and the drive is very easy - about 10-15 minutes. Very easy check-in, and any minor issues were immediately addressed by the property management. Also, the house was very clean, the beds were very comfortable, and I think every bedroom has its own bathroom. If there is any complaint, the kitchen is slightly dated (electric stove), and a house that big should have larger bowls/serving platters for large group dinners. We will very likely rent again next year! ##### Peter K. He was excellent.Overall, the house is very nice...clean, a bit dated, but nice. The location is excellent...short drive to skiing, town, etc. It accommodated 14-17 of us for a week, no problem. The grill was great. The hot tub was clean and warm. Some somewhat minor things that would make stays better include the following:1\. More dish towels. There were three.2\. More bath towels. Each room had only two.3\. Towels for the hot tub. There were none, so we used our limited supply of bath towels.4\. Another dishwasher is needed for a place this large.5\. The coffee maker/pot is excellent but tiny; a larger one (or two for a house this size) would be ideal.6\. More bedside lighting in working order is needed.7\. Although there were heat pads on the short walk to the hot tub, they didn't cover the entire distance, so the walk from the porch to the hot tub was shaky at best.8\. There apparently is heat tape on the roof to prevent ice dams, but it was not on or not working. The ice didn't effect us at all, but sitting in the hot tub and looking at all that ice just waiting to come down was mildly unnerving.9\. The door to the hallway upstairs didn't close, so we had to plop a bag behind it to keep it closed at night.10\. Another couch in the living room would accommodate more people. ##### Jeff S. We didn’t leave the property our whole stay. There was plenty of room for people. There are a few things that was hard for a big group. The water in the kitchen sink we could not get cold. It was only warm to hot and the warm water only came out as a slow drip. The heating element on the top oven didnt work. We were stuck with one oven for a pretty large group. The stove also didn’t work well. It was really challenging to cook for a large group at this property. My now husband and I found this VRBO to house our families/friends for our elopement weekend. We were looking for a house that would hold roughly 20 people, plus some small children. This was perfect- every single bedroom had a bathroom. The kitchen +chef's pantry gave us more than enough room for all of our groceries for a weekend.
