Modern 2BR Near Downtown Ipswich

"I found Ahmad’s place the day of our trip and booked just hours before arriving, and it truly couldn’t have worked out better. Ahmad was super responsive and very accommodating, and communicated with us throughout. Check-in and check-out were a breeze.The apartment was awesome. Very clean, organized, well-stocked, and the perfect setup for our stay. It’s in a nice, quiet neighborhood, yet within minutes of everything in town, with the train station right at the end of the road and parking on premises.The location was perfect for us and very central to Salem, Rockport, Newburyport, and so many of the places we love to frequent in the area.We enjoyed it so much that I already tried to book again for a few weeks from now, but unfortunately he’s already booked! We’re really looking forward to staying here again in the future.Thanks so much, Ahmad!"
The Ipswich Inn

"We miss the microwave the Inn used to have in the rooms. ‘Great having the cafe in the facility ~ wonderful breakfast! ~ but it used to be included in the room fee. :( Wonderful shower!! :) Bathroom could use a small shelf for guests’ toiletries. Always look forward to staying here but wish the rates hadn’t gone up so severely from one owner to the next. Inn is nice and close to great dinner restaurant (Choate Bridge) - very convenient!!"

"Moot Point is in a great area of Ipswich, easy access to anything you want. We were looking for time away from the city. We got beautiful sunsets, so many choices of hikes & amazing seafood. The cottage is well laid out, comfortable & very clean."

"The house was very clean and comfortable. They could use a bench or chair in one of the guest rooms to put your suitcase on and also some table reading lamps next to the bed. Also sone ice cube trays for the freezer. Great location. Very easy to get to and check in was perfect."

"This was a great place for my family and I to stay as we explored the area. The host was great answering any questions we had promptly. They had anything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. We loved that they had everything we needed for the beach, allowing us to pack light. A great place to stay that we will definitely book again!"

"Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The unit itself is great—very spacious with plenty of room for our family of five. The large eat-in kitchen was a big plus, and having two large bedrooms gave everyone plenty of space. The location is also excellent: tucked away just enough to feel off the beaten path, while still being only about two minutes from Main Street.When we arrived, it was clear the unit had not been cleaned after the previous guests. I messaged the host, and to his credit, he responded immediately and was there within minutes to take care of it. We really appreciated how quickly he addressed the issue.One thing future guests should know: be prepared for quite a few stairs! Aside from that, the space, location, and responsiveness of the host made for a good stay overall."

"We get together with family friends annually and this place was a great setting all around. We made great use of the screened in porch, the outdoor spaces (kids loved playing baseball out back) and the large kitchen. The final bedrooms are through an unfinished basement then through a door and down some stairs - so fairly far away.. This downstairs area was good for some of the older kids. We also LOVED the piano and had some wonderful sing along memories made! We did miss a few amenities we usually associate with VRBOs - dish soap; some hand soap in several bathrooms; sufficient toilet paper for our stay (several bathrooms only had a half roll and there were no extras in the home); paper towels; cooking oil...with that said we brought a few of these to the host's attention and he was quickly responsive and willing to buy them and bring them out. We just opted to purchase our own but might be worth bringing these or clarifying before you show up if these are things you don't usually bring like us. Also - a location note - we'd hoped to put in kayaks and SUPs in the nearby marina or behind the house. There is definitely no access behind the house and the marina staff were not friendly to us when trying to launch our kayaks. Overall small things in the scheme of things though and we had such a wonderful time! Would return - great value & location!"

"Quiet location, second floor of a multi unit building, perfectly setup for shorter stays. Short walk (10 minutes) to downtown Ipswich and short drive to the Craine Estate. Enjoyable stay and a pleasant surprise, though we didn’t need it, the host has smartly included a rice cooker in the unit. For anyone with kids or picky eaters, sometimes the little ones just want rice."
