"We stayed one night while visiting The Ark Encounter. What an amazing tent/cabin! We absolutely loved it and wished we were staying the whole weekend. The air conditioning kept up wonderfully for it was very hot day. I loved the "tent" aspect of hearing the chirping at night, but being comfortable in a bed with air. "Our recent stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing from beginning to end. Check-in was slow, awkward, and unnecessarily difficult. Unfortunately, things only got worse from there. Our first room had a strong, unpleasant odor. When we brought it to the attention of the front desk, the clerk argued with us and insisted that “the smell wasn’t that bad” rather than simply addressing the issue professionally. We were eventually moved to a second room, only to discover that the air conditioner did not work properly. After another frustrating interaction with staff, we were moved a third time into a room that was finally acceptable. Beyond the room issues, the overall cleanliness of the hotel was poor, and the staff throughout our stay were argumentative, unhelpful, and difficult to work with. Hospitality and customer service seemed completely absent. What should have been a simple, comfortable stay turned into a stressful and frustrating experience. Unfortunately, we would not stay here again and cannot recommend this hotel to others."
