Enjoy the gorgeous Kentucky countryside, and the close proximity to everything Williamstown, KY and the area has to offer when you stay in this safari-themed tent! Located only a couple miles from downtown Williamstown in a beautiful rural setting, just off Interstate 75\. Easy access to Williamstown Lake and the Ark Encounter makes Eden Reserve the perfect spot to experience the best of Williamstown, and enjoy the comfort of this rustic safari tent! The Space: This gorgeous "safari tent" has everything you need for a getaway in Williamstown KY! Inside the tent you will find two bedroom zones with a queen bed and a twin/full bunk! You'll also have a mini fridge and coffee maker, with complimentary coffee, creamer, sugar, and tea. A small dining table and overhead AC/Heating unit complete the cozy space for the comfortable accommodation of up to 5 guests! Bathrooms are located in a bathhouse with 4 private, full bathrooms, at the top of the hill which is designated for the exclusive use of our safari tent guests! Outside, you will find some outdoor seating on the deck, a charcoal grill, and a fire ring. Enjoy plenty of outdoor space to explore, including walking trails, scenic ponds, and an exciting playground alongside two communal picnic pavilions/and gas grills! Note that wheelchairs and walkers may have trouble with the gravel drive and slopes to and from the tents. Tent G features a raised grill and easily-accessed fire and picnic area for those with mobility issues. Also note that there is an emergency medical helicopter pad nearby. The helicopters take off and land occasionally, creating noise. But are also fun for kids to watch as they come and go! If you need to reserve more than one tent, feel free to contact us for options! Safari Tents are closed December through February. Guest Access: Entry is by door code. Guests have access to the entire tent. Access is limited to registered guests only—any visitors must be approved by the host and may not stay overnight. Guests have access to the bathhouse which features 4 private, full bathrooms (1 is fully ADA Accessible). The Neighborhood: This tent is located in the rural Williamstown area, along interstate 75, and a short drive to downtown Williamstown. The popular Ark Encounter attraction is only one exit away! You are also close to Williamstown Lake, and only a 45-minute drive to downtown Cincinnati and the Creation Museum, and a 1 hour drive to Lexington, KY! Getting Around: Driving a rental or personal vehicle is your best option in this beautiful, rural area of Kentucky. Other Things to Note: We require all guests to sign our rental agreement and provide photo ID via the digital form before check-in instructions will be sent. Check-in info is sent 5 days prior to check-in, assuming completion of the rental agreement. Guests are not permitted to park in the tent area. Designated parking is located beside the bathhouse, about 300 feet up the slope. Cars parked on the grass or for extended periods of time near the tents will be towed at the owner's expense. Interaction with Guests: We are always a message or phone call away if assistance is needed. We will not enter inside the property during your stay, unless requested, without prior notice or permission. The bathrooms were exquisite and clean. The tents were nicely decorated and fun. There were a few issues and suggestions that we gave to the owner. Out of their control was the interstate which did get a little noisy now and then at night and the EVAC Helicopter did have to take off twice in one night and had to return twice. The helicopter pad is about a football field away so pretty close. But overall, we enjoyed our stay and it was only 4 minutes from the Ark which was awesome. ##### Cindy B. There are no taxi's and Uber/lift is not always available, like very rare. So if you are relying on that to get around, you will be very frustrated and possibly stranded. One guest that was there for auber over to the Ark Encounter but could not get back. She ended up getting a ride from an employee there. My car broke down and thankfully we brought food and water because you can't get delivery either. And that nice employee at the Ark, helped get us around until it was fixed. Nothing is under 2.5 miles from this location so, walking with 4 children was not the best option. Just be warned. The facility itself was amazing! So beautiful wonderful staff member (Susan) i believe... she helped so much! Went out of her way for us! Thank you! Very quiet, except for the Evac Helicopter that was in and out, it was very cool to see especially for the children, but when it leaves in the middle of the night it can be a little jarring. We had great weather, and really enjoyed the great outdoors and views! Took so many pics. We brought a travel badminton set and the other children and mine had a great time playing. No TV so having all of our card games and things made for great family nights. What you don’t know until you are there is… about 50 feet from your tent is the life flight helicopter pad. It’s so close that you can hear and feel it taking off and landing. The hospital is less than a mile on the same road so ambulances coming and going was quite frequent! There is also a train about a mile behind the tents, with an intersection which means it has to blow its horn!! It ran about 4-5 times a night. So if you want to get any sleep this probably isn’t a good option! We tried white noise, and ear plugs and the noise is so close that it doesn’t help at all! ##### Tiffany S. We were able to cook our dinners and breakfasts there which was so nice. The bathrooms were very clean. We brought our fishing poles, the pond was so filled with algae that it was impossible to fish. We visited the ark and the Kentucky horse park. We had a blast and the location is 30-45mins from Cincinnati and Lexington. Property was well kept, kids loved the “camping” experience.
