"We liked the room and the property. My husband liked his pancakes and yogurt for breakfast. I liked the juice, eggs, and fruit, but found that both of the pastries on my plate were stale. My raisin toast was not stale, but after toasting, there was no soft center. Maybe it had dried out because it had first been put out the previous day."

"It a great place to stay if u had few more people there are couch beds indouble room. I sèe theee was a out pool look clean i dont knew if it was open yet but it was raining but fully snack machines, friend host but police are deep around area which is great but i kind of felt like they where following me and random men standing around actin like they wasnt police but cool to but im not no criminal nor person to be watch it was just me there but beside all that it was great i hope to stay again in future trips!!!@"

"It was a nice hotel. Very clean. Requested late check out , had sign on door but cleaning staff entered room without knocking before agreed upon time - said it was not noted on her sheet."

"Great property and location but (not their fault) this is a loud area. Unfortunately, the HPD has their hands full with motorcycles and cars pretty much drag racing on Hwy 70 which is right by the hotel. I don't think there is really anything the hotel can do but it's a shame. I was up visiting (lived there for 15 years) so as a recent local, i'm well aware of the problem. Otherwise, highly recommend this hotel over others in the area. Always clean, nice staff, and still a good location if you need to stay in Hickory."
