"Hotel was clean , staff was very friendly and located in a good area. Only negative is the TV which has a channel guide on Channel 1 but none of the 1 or 2 digit numbers on that match the 3 digit numbers or even come close so you have to scroll channel by channel to find something you like which is why I only gave 3 stars for amenities, "

"The thermostat in the room was broken and there was no other room to move to. The hotel is under partial construction and they gave us a room that should have been out of order to start with."

"I have stayed here a few times now. Rooms are always clean. Their lobby area is beautiful, warm and inviting. They were undergoing a remodel during this visit, but it was not an inconvenience. Employees have always been friendly and helpful. Great place to stay if you want to visit area trails, Stone Mountain State Park, or historic downtown Elkin. "

"Adorable cabin, very clean,comfortable,looks brand new.Enjoyed looking out the window and seeing mallard duck and his mate just strutting down the road, then here come the guinneas I think. Watched the goats and miniature donkeys down the pasture. Had a wonderful lunch at Snappys diner. So peaceful…."

"The room had a couple areas that weren't the most immaculate. The bathroom floor looked clean but was sticky. And there were some small items left from the previous occupant under the chair in corner and under the bed. "
