We were upgrade to a nicer upstairs room due to our bottom floor room had a strong smoke smell even though smoking isnt allowed inside and roaches were seen, plus stains were on carpet. I think people stay here long term or even live in these rooms. While over all our five day stay was good the kitchen is not equipped with proper cooking utensils. Office staff was very nice.

Staff was friendly and room was a little dated but pretty clean aside from some cobwebs here and there (the important parts-bed, bathroom, & kitchen were very clean though). For the price, it was great! We will be staying here next time we come back to Hickory.

I liked the property very much. The place was very comfortable and had plenty of room. What I loved most about it that it looks exactly like a real apartment home you can cook plus had a refrigerator in it, plus microwave, closet space, 2 tv's . It was pretty nice I would definitely stsy again.

The stay was last minute. This was affordable and convenient. The bedroom is separate from the living room and there's a TV in both. The kitchen has a stove, microwave, coffee maker, and toaster. There's dishes, soap and the toiletries provided. The staff are really respectful and made us feel welcomed. Amy messaged us to ensure we were enjoying our stay. She asked if we needed anything for our stay. I greatly appreciate that. Our stay was great. We didn't experience anyone being loud or disrespectful. It truly was a great place to stay. Thank you!!!

How friendly the staff is, from the cleaning people to the manager. When we had issues with the remote control, they fixed it right away. We are planning to come back in the following weeks because I am being treated at Catawba Medical Center, this hotel's location fits our needs it is close to the hospital. Excellent service and good accommodation.

Great place but....

Great stay. Accommodations are adequate and the price is good. It's just like everything else in life. Alot of the customers are regulars and they will be getting the bottom level rooms no matter what. If you have a bum leg or some issues you better go somewhere else.

Such a blessing!!!!!!

Well first off let me say Miss Beverly is an amazing woman. I really connected with her my first visit. The place was so secluded and quiet. You would never even know it was there. The property is maintained exceptionally well and the room was very clean. Just a quiet place where you can escape for a while.

The owner/manager was nice and the AC worked good but the room was not clean. Trash can in kitchen was full, dirty carpet and couch. Mold along the walls and in the bathroom floor and shower curtain. Only one towel and two wash cloths. Bugs. Housekeeping needs to do a better job!

The office desk lady was very pleasant and nice. They were able to accommodate me a room with a pull out bed for my kids. The rooms are outdated. There was soap but no shampoo conditioner provided. It seemed more of like a motel in my opinion. But overall the stay was comfortable.

Weekend stay

Beverly was super sweet and did everything she could to make the rip great for us as well as another group who was checking in at the same time. She made sure she got us the rooms we both were requesting and needs were met. Sadly her housekeeper was out so she was trying to run the place and clean at the same time. Room was in good condition. I am sorry about all the boxes and recycle I left due to a shopping trip. Did not see a garbage/recycle bin outside to throw them. Location was a little weird, as it was located near what I guess you would call an industrial or business area. There seemed to be another hotel close by. It was quiet. Roads close by were very dark and turning in was a little nerve-racking on occasion trying to get to the road the hotel was on.
