« Host did not respond to two emails, never provided access information. VRBO tried to contact her twice by phone, no answer. Ended up refunding me and providing an extra credit to use for a rebook - but nothing was available for the timeframe I was down here in St Pete; fortunately I was able to stay with friends, but that should Not have happened. Poor service from the host. Great service from VRBO, but no help due to the events going on in town so no availability. »

« Worst of all we discovered a dead bedbug and a bloody stain on the mattress cover. Blinds had many broken slats. Oven door on the stove was broken and a strap held it shut. GFCIs were upside down. « The home itself was fairly clean, a lot of dust build up on bathroom fan and in the window units, house had a mildew smell, we went and got an air purifier that helped a lot. The beds were comfortable, enough supplies in the kitchen to cook a decent sized meal. The shower is tricky to use and water pressure leaves a lot to be desired.
