We are travelling across England staying in B & Bs. This is THE BEST one we have come across! The property is beautiful and the hospitality and food was outstanding!

This was my first time in.a b&b and I couldn’t have wished for a better introduction. The owners were really friendly and welcoming. The breakfasts were plentiful and delicious with a wide variety. My room was clean, comfortable, quiet and had a fantastic view. When I arrived I was told to treat it as my home and that was just how it felt. It was a real pleasure to stay there.

We absolutely loved staying at the Townhouse Rooms. As Canadians we appreciate friendliness and definitely felt at home with our warm and hospitable hosts. Our room was spacious and very comfortable, as well as quiet. The breakfasts were delicious with lots of fresh fruit. Also loved the afternoon cake! Would certainly recommend.

A traditional inn on the harbour with a great atmosphere. Richard, the owner, and his team do a tremendous job. Highly recommended

The hotel rooms and facilities were in excellent shape with beautifully updated bathrooms. The entire property was very clean, the staff were helpful and very friendly and the restaurant service and food was excellent.

The staff are very welcoming and accommodating. I felt as thought they cared deeply about the needs of their visitors. The hotel is situated in a rural area, a 10 minute walk from the nearest village. The site is peaceful, and the hotel grounds are delightful. We booked our 3-night non-refundable reservation through Expedia and the listing said that parking was included. When we received our welcome email from the property manager we learned that the free parking was only for stays of a week or longer. The parking lot is a 10-minute walk uphill from the flat, costs £11/day. The flat is cute although small, but very quiet with a comfortable bed and well equipped galley kitchen.
