"Breakfast"

Majestic Palace Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"The room was clean and the bed comfortable and the shower had good water pressure . They provide body wash, shampoo and conditioner, and lotion. In the wind, the bathroom window would rattle, They were not insulated. Our balcony overlooked the beautiful gardens full of lemon trees. A walk around the garden is a must. We had drinks on the roof. Wait staff was pleasant and the view was outstanding. We also took advantage of the dry bar restaurant for lunch when we arrived. The food was good there. We didn't take advantage of the main restaurant except for breakfast. Breakfast was the usual hotel fair in Italy. Sometimes the eggs were cold on top of the pan. It was in a quiet neighborhood withjust a few restaurants . It was quite a distance from Piazza Tasso as we took a taxi. The staff was very helpful in getting us a taxi. The walk would have been lonely at night. All in all it was a pleasant stay."

So' Lifestyle Hotel Sorrento

8/10 Good

"We were very happy with So' Lifestyle Hotel. It's recently renovated, spotless, and the staff was friendly and attentive. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the crib was ready when we arrived, which we really appreciated with a baby. The bed and bathroom were comfortable (pillows a bit thin for my taste, but they give two per person), and the terrace, elevator and Wi-Fi all worked well. Our room matched what we booked (Classic Double with sofa bed and balcony). The location is a bit farther from Sorrento's center than we would have liked, but it's walkable, or a 20-30 euro taxi. Some things could be improved. The renovation seems to need a few finishing touches: several light switches didn't work properly or didn't control what they should, and the A/C panel is confusing, although the A/C works well. Soundproofing is poor; we clearly heard people in the hallway and nearby rooms, which matters with a baby. Breakfast was good, but the team seems understaffed: tables were slow to be cleaned, and coffee and food took a while to be refilled. The 24-hour food service is advertised, but there is no room service (you go down to order and pick up) and the QR menu shows limited hours. Overall, a good value and a place we'd consider again once these small details are sorted out."
