BUT that mistake cost me a lot of money because they didn’t have great public transportation and had to take a 50 euro taxi ride from sorrento to the property. The pool was great because since we were not centrally located we just hung out there for the day. Much less crowded than Sorrento centre. The pool area is great and was very quiet when we stayed. The double room although basic, has everything you need including a TV and good AC. The staff are really helpful in instructing how to get to certain places and reception is open 24/7\. The cleaners tidied our room every day. The staff were so helpful with accommodating all our needs. The restaurant staff gave us. Table on patio even though it was t set up. Their pier was beautiful,amazing sights to Sorrento and the other way to the black sand beach. The cottages were comfy and so homey. The location is 15min walk to train station. You must get a ticket for $1.50 euro and see Sorrento, 5 mins away. The resort is next to a mountain and there are also great views of the port/ocean from the viewpoint. Piano di Sorrento is very well connected to Sorrento (can be reached via train - 2 stops, 5 mins). The train station is 10-15 mins by foot and otherwise, the hotel is able to arrange a shuttle to the station which costs around 4 euro per person. Beware that the last train leaves Sorrento at 10pm! We very much enjoyed relaxing at the pool. There is a poolside bar too, if you would like to order beverages/snacks. We booked one of their smart rooms and while a little small, they were clean, well-furnished, and the perfect size for two people. The grounds were nicely maintained, the views of Sorrento from the resort's garden were incredible, especially at night, and the pool was well-operated. We didn't get a chance to try the hotel's lunch or dinner service, but the breakfast was great and had a decent selection of offerings.
