"We stayed at the Casa Pina apartment for a few days over the New Year's break. Our experience was good, except for a couple of issues highlighted below: What we liked: * fantanstic location, literally 50 meters from the main train station at Sorrento, and the bus stop for the Amalfi Coast. "The property is an absolutely wonderful, very desirable location,right on the beach. The breakfast provided is an awesome, authentic italian breakfast. Do not expect an american breakfast. No bacon eggs french toast or pancakes. The staff is absolutely wonderful and most helpful with directions, planning or anything else you may need. The rooms are awesome and very comfortable. The views are unbelievable. Also a great gateway to explore Amalfi, Pompeii, Capri i mean many other hidden treasures."

"My wife and I had an amazing stay at the Aminta! The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room had everything we needed and was cleaned everyday. The shuttle into town was very convenient and made it very easy to go back and forth. Overall great place to stay and I would recommend to anyone traveling to Sorrento!"

"The views from the hotel of the Gulf of Naples were incredible. Could have sat on the balcony for days and looked out at them. The breakfast was also a highlight - the a'la carte menu was much appreciated, and dishes came out cooked as requested. We had a sea view from our room, and it did not disappoint. However, the room was clearly under the carpark or potentially the road, and in the evenings the noise from the road / cars was very evident. I guess this is the compromise for effectively building a hotel on a cliff! We recognised the issue after the first night, but as we were only there for a short stay (two nights) didn't think it was such a big issue to request a room change. Apart from the noise from above, the room itself was lovely, and had everything we needed. We very much enjoyed utilising the private path down and back to the marina, but recognise it is not for everyone if mobility is limited or steps are not your friend. Overall, would recommend this hotel. The view is insane, the staff are friendly and helpful and the breakfast alone is worth staying the night."

"Pros: The hotel has a nice sea view and easy access to a swim area on the beach. It’s a short walk if you want to take a ferry to Capri or any of the Amalfi coast towns and not a far walk from the train station. Cons: The room came with a massive Jacuzzi tub that we wouldn’t use. The shower was extremely small due to the massive tub. Also, the iron was difficult to use as they have it attached to ironing board so you have less than a foot of cord to work with. Breakfast would’ve been better if they offered cooked bacon as the bacon they put out was raw."

"Lovely stay for four nights. The hotel is a short flat walk into the town of Sorrento (17-20 mins). The hotel also offers shuttle which is handy if you are going out for the night and have your heels on. Breakfast was lovely, everything you would expect of a 5 star hotel buffet breakfast. The rooms are spacious. We had a balcony room overlooking the sea which was beautiful but having a garden facing room you wouldn’t be disappointed. The garden is also very beautiful. The staff were all very helpful and attentive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to our friends and family."
