Such a nice historical hotel. Lovely staff & they offer great discounts for shops/restaurants/tours around the area.

This is the second time we stay here. This time it was disappointing. We ordered a couple of items from their restaurant and the food was very bad. Like frozen food warmed up. In their description they offer robes in the room, there weren’t any. I asked the reception, she said they will bring them right away. Two hours later, nothing. My husband asked again and this they told him they don’t have them anymore because guest steal them! He asked about the bottles of water ( also offered in their description) and they told him they run out of water. The person told him we could drink the water that they have in the room, and wont charge Us. Guest what? One of the bottles had been tampered, we guess the previous guest drank it and filled it back with tap water. Dangerous. The hotel is beautiful and the location is great but this time the service was terrible. Our previous experience was very different. We also stayed at the Kimpton in NOLA last Christmas and we had a wonderful experience . Savannah’s management needs to change I guess. And get real food in the restaurant.
