The Village exceeded our expectations in every way. Everything looked new and clean, and there were lots of extra special touches that impressed us like the body care supplies in the bathrooms and extras in the kitchen. We loved drinking our coffee on the balcony each morning and looking out at the aspen trees. The shuttle service was also a very nice touch for those of us who can't walk all the way up the hill. As the name implies, it sits at the top of Snowmass Village. The rooms are spacious and well appointed/maintained. The views of the beautiful Snowmass ski resort are plentiful. I’ve stayed at several properties in Snowmass Village, and this one ranks amongst the best. The property is quiet and has a great pool/hot tub. If staying there in the summer/fall, the Mtn/road biking options are many, and start right outside your front door. If there in the winter, you are literally just steps from the run that will take you down to village base area, lifts, bars, restaurants…. The property is slope side, so be prepared for some fairly steep sidewalks down to the village mall, or just take their mall shuttle. It was clean and beautiful, kitchen was fully stocked with everything you can think of. There was no hot water in the 2nd bathroom shower. One of the range burners was broken. The jewelry safe in the primary bedroom did not work. The window blinds in one of the bedrooms was broken. The unit was last redone in 1980\. Everything is brown. The carpet. The sofas. Everything. And old. The walls are paper thin so you can hear everyone walk past your unit. The bedrooms have windows that face the walkway so there is very little privacy. The unit is so old that there’s a vhs player. All of the technology seems to be from this era. I think there should be rules about how long a unit can go without having to update appliances, carpet, etc. The washing machine hardly functions…… I could go on and on. But, for the price, they need to do some updating. When everything is almost 40 years old, it is hard to be clean and comfortable. The beds were super worn.
