The first room we got was terrible smoke and the entire room was not pleasant at all they changed the rooms the staff did give us another room and I was a bit better the walls were not as dirty and the smell was better too

I went to Atlanta for a World Cup game and could not have been more pleased with this hotel. It was 5 minutes walking to the stadium through a fantastic shopping center and then through a beautiful park. The hotel itself was elegany and my room was huge. I did not purchase breakfast at their restaurant but saw it was available. Instead, I bought simple food items and coffee at their hotel lobby shop. The staff was super friendly. The rate was very reasonable! I would definitely stay again!

Overall, excellent place and I would stay here again. Things to be aware of: the check in process is not totally clear. Make sure to contact the host in advance to get the code to enter the building and the other code to access the key fob box. There are numbers to call in case you do not get the information in advance, but can take 30-45 minutes to get people on the phone. Other than the check in process, the place was great. Excellent location, within walking distance of shops and restaurants. a quick Uber ride from Emory University. I would stay here again.

The location of Atlanta Evergreen Lakeside Resort is truly beautiful, with a stunning lakeside setting that has tremendous potential. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and our room was clean, comfortable, and in very good condition. The only issue with the room was the bathroom design. There were no towel hooks or bars, which made it difficult for a larger family to hang and reuse towels conveniently. Unfortunately, the overall condition of the property was disappointing. Many areas appeared run-down and poorly maintained. During our stay, there were no clean towels available at the pool, the rocking chairs throughout the property looked old and outdated, and we noticed exposed electrical outlets outside as well as scattered trash in some areas. The restaurants and other guest services also seemed understaffed, which affected the overall experience. Given the resort’s exceptional location, it was disappointing to see the property not living up to its potential.
