"This property is amazingly close to the beach which is what was important to us. The room was clean, tidy and was stocked with all the comforts of home. Plenty of room for my family of 4, which includes 2 teenagers! Would highly recommend staying here and I can see our family booking this property next year!!!"

"The Blaylock Mansion is a one-of-a-kind experience. We rented the Presidential Suite for two nights. Two nights to give me a full day to feel like I’m living there. The Presidential Suite is a six hundred square foot room that feels more like an apartment. I felt like the Lord of the Manor. A memory that will last for a long time. The Mansion is fantastic, and owners Brett and Jennifer let you freely roam the Mansion as if it is your own. There are some restricted areas but very few. Built during the depression, the craftsmen in the area went all out in detail and quality. The windows are a big part of the look and feel of the Mansion, hardware used is functional and beautiful. The windows were designed and built to last a hundred years plus. The whole Mansion is solid and feels like it will stand forever. The grounds are equally impressive and maintained with a love of gardening. The lap pool was refreshing. Took an early morning dip just because I didn’t want to leave without getting in once. Thank you, Brett and Jennifer, for a wonderful experience, that truly exceeded my expectations. Jim Baker"

"This little house was a great place to get away to. The hosts were there when we arrived and introduced themselves and guided us where to park for our stay. I liked that it was close to Slocan and yet far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet. Lots of birds, butterflies and all was in bloom. The House was a very clean and welcoming. Had all the amneties that we needed for the weekend. Would recomend this to anyone looking for a very clean and quiet place."

"Beautiful home on gorgeous acres with fruit trees and an amazing forest. Great communication with Scott and Jessica. It was clean, spacious, and I will be booking again. Close to many beaches if your a beach person and 10min to town. Great location!"

"Very clean and had all necessary amenities. To clarify, the 2-minute walk to the beach is along a stretch of busy highway. It is a tiny and slightly dirty patch of sand with debris next to a private property (not the beach pictured which was a little misleading). Not a beach you would want to spend time at. Difficult to walk anywhere from the cabin because you are on the edge of a busy highway with no sidewalk or separation from rushing traffic. Just be aware you will have to drive to get to any beaches, hiking/biking trails or into town. Cabin itself is beautiful, kitchen well-stocked. Bathroom has a wall-heater which was nice on chilly days. Sliding barn style door on bathroom which doesn’t offer much privacy. Laundry a plus. Beds were comfortable but blankets and pillows quite worn. Sound of the rushing creek was wonderful and surrounding trees/flowers beautifully maintained. Porch is great for sitting outside but not covered if it rains."
