The location is unbeatable—right on River Street and close to everything Savannah has to offer. The room was comfortable, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and the historic charm of the inn really added to the experience. The only minor issue was that the ceiling fan had a noticeable buildup of dust on the blades, so we chose not to use it since it was directly over the bed. Aside from that small detail, our stay was wonderful, and we would absolutely consider staying here again for a future visit." But we had issues when booking a Room with a Riverfront view. When booking the room we paid for a river front room and when we arrived at the front desk the Marriott stated there was not a riverfront room available. They blamed the error on the third party booking, and gave us another room that looked over the roof top at all the air condition units. We were very disappointed. It was very quiet at the hotel that day, so we walked down the River front walkway in front of the Marriott and noticed that there was a lot of Riverfront rooms available. The Marriott front desk lied.
