Lovely hosts and so impressed with the welcome emails they send you ahead and the website it leads to is so easy to navigate. Patty and Suzy (as well as their helpers Delilah and Michael) are great. They all made us feel like family. The inn is gorgeous, with a very southern feeling. Breakfasts tasted great, fruit or yogurt and different every day. Great location for walking anywhere and felt very safe. My boyfriend and I took one room and my Mom took the one next to us. The rooms were beautiful, and the beds were very comfortable. There's an intercom you can turn on to play ambient music; it was on when we walked in and it just made the arrival so relaxing. The young woman who checked us in was probably the sweetest person I have ever met in my life with the most relaxing voice. The inn smelled amazing, because they had just finished baking cookies. What a magical place is this! I felt like I was in a Hallmark movie! We had a lovely talk with the owner a bit about the history of the inn and how she became involved; it was such a lovely chat. I felt like a welcomed guest in her beautiful home. The breakfasts were delicious too! If I HAD to complain about something it would be that you can hear everyone's footsteps and movements, especially at night. But what do you expect? It's an old house! The rooms even had a sound machine, so just turn that on and you'll have no problem sleeping through the guests clonking their heels above you. Truly, it was a wonderful experience and I was sad to leave.
