Amazing sunset views plus it’s always fun to watch the river traffic - barges, the Captains Quarters dinner boat, the Belle of Louisville and more. "The house was perfect for our needs. Great for bourbon and friends. The hot tub was perfect. The whiskey glasses a nice touch. Even a chemex for fancy coffee (french press would be awesome too). Beds were comfy. Vibe if the backyard was perfect. Only disappointment is we didnt give ourselves time to enjoy the cornhole! We will be back!!!"

"Our stay was great, we were on a long road trip and wanted a place away from the city and got exactly that. The owner was proactive in ensuring our stay was comfortable and pleasant. The only minor complaint we could report was that the place was a little buggy. As in there were ants invading the house and we also had to kill a number of spiders. I don't mind that so much as pest control is my profession, but other visitors might be put off enough by that kind of thing to make more of a fuss....

"The check in process was super easy and the host was good! The area can seem a little off putting but we didn’t have any problems. And it was nice being a short drive from restaurants and bars. The towels were still in the dryer when we got there and not put away in a cabinet so we couldn’t find them at first but other than that everything was perfect! "We stayed for 3 nights - house was clean and as advertised. Nice quiet neighborhood, nice backyard, we enjoyed sitting and watching birds and BBQing in the yard. Good location, easy to and from airport, and Louisville, waterfront park and pedestrian bridge were nice and close. House was clean, kitchen had what we needed. Would recommend to anyone needing a place to stay in this area."

"I met my 8 girlfriends from college in central Kentucky. The Havilah House was the perfect location for keeneland and bourbon tours and halfway between the bluegrass and Louisville airports. The house is comfortable and well stocked. The host was very responsive and answered our questions quickly. I would highly recommend it."
