"The Summit Lodge is a gem! Lots of things to do......pool, got tub, billiards, darts, and lawn games. The building is quaint and has a "homey" feel. The owners were super pleasant and friendly. We were there for DH bike racing at Killington and this place was nice and close! We highly recommend this place."

"The location of this old schoolhouse is beautiful, and landscaping around the house is well done. My family enjoyed our stay and were very comfortable. Though furnishings and appliances were not perfect or top of the line, they were functional and adequate.We were not able to get the pin pad door lock or house key to work when we arrived and luckily one of the owners was able to let us in. The next day we were able to get the pin pad to reset and it worked well for the remainder of our stay. When we arrived, there were dishes in the dishwasher and were not clean. We found a couple dishes on the shelf that were not clean as well. We also found wet towels in the washing machine that had obviously been there for a while.Even with the above mentioned concerns, our overall stay was comfortable and pleasant."

"Very private and secluded chalet. Has its own driveway so it is like your own individual cabin in the woods. Come and go as you like without worry of interrupting anyone. Close to town and fishing and hiking. Very comfortable. Loved it. Had an opportunity to speak with the original builder/ owner about the history. "

"This was our 4th stay at Silver Lake. Each time has exceeded our expectations. We especially enjoy the dock and swimming, kayaking and paddleboarding. Good hikes in the area along with activities for young children. Got the grandkids to fish this year and they loved! The house is perfect for a a large family. Beds are comfortable, clean and well equipped kitchen.Hope yo be back next year! "
