"was put in a room next to elevator, elevator was rubbing squeeling reported to front desk, they refused to move us, noise kept us up all night long. terrible experience. she said they didn't have any other rooms and refused to move us the hotel was clearly NOT full capacity. Elevator certificate was out of date expired."

"What an incredible house! We were expecting an old farmhouse, but what we found really blew away our expectations. The Homestead is meticulously maintained, thoughtfully, appointed, and lovingly filled with books, antiques, art, and comfortable places to lounge and hang out. There’s a lot to discover as you wander through the different sitting areas and nooks. The bedrooms are comfortable, the showers are great. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook breakfast and dinner. One of my favorite moments was doing yoga on the mat provided as I gazed out on the grazing cows. Communication with the hosts was terrific, they checked in and were extremely helpful about how things in the house worked as well as where to get groceries and where to grab a good dinner. Awesome place for a family, a couple families vacationing together or a group of friends. Less than 10 minutes and you’re in downtown Woodstock. Would highly recommend and would stay again! "

"The property was perfect for our family's ski trip at killington. We had 5 adults and 4 kids ages 8-13. Plenty of bedrooms, beds and bathrooms. The kitchen was spacious -- the kitchen table comfortably sat all of us! The basement was a hit with the kids-- wii, tv and video game. We did encounter an issue upon our arrival. Jolene was quick to respond and rectified the situation--- in fact she went above and beyond what i would expect.Class act! If we ever head up that way again i would definitely stay there again.
