"The Woodstock Inn is simply one of the most gracious and inviting hotels my wife and I have ever stayed in. We recently decided to vacation in Vermont and finally see what the Inn was about. First, the setting and common areas are magnificent, with many areas to sit and relax. The reading room has chess and backgammon boards and dozens of books to read. It even has a wood-paneled game room with shuffleboard, pool, and yes even a vintage Ms. Pacman game! Our room was clean and well-appointed, with the most sumptuous King bed you could imagine. Elegant bath with subway tile and all new fixtures. Here's the bonus - the Inn's athletic facility is off-premise by a mile but it is a large facility with multiple work-out rooms, Olympic-size pool with hot tub, and daily classes. Fantastic! And finally, here is our favorite part - the collection of amiable doormen that really set the character of the Inn. Fun, engaging, and completely focused on service. Thank you Larry, Mark, and all of you for a wonderful stay! Hope to see you next year."

"Upstairs two floors in a pretty carriage house with a view of woods and a river. Everything was immaculate, and anything you might need was there and working. The internet code was different from the one on the website, and it took a while to find the paper with the current version. Otherwise perfect!"

"An attractive and tasteful recent do-over of an interesting space right in the center of the beautiful Vermont town of Woodstock. We loved it. We didn’t happen to need the kitchen, but it was clear that everything needed was there. Our hostess, Kim, came right over when we had trouble with the entry code, and cheerfully straightened it out. An extra bonus was gift certificates to her ice cream shop downstairs."

Genuine Farm! - The Homestead at Winterfound Farm

"What an incredible house! We were expecting an old farmhouse, but what we found really blew away our expectations. The Homestead is meticulously maintained, thoughtfully, appointed, and lovingly filled with books, antiques, art, and comfortable places to lounge and hang out. There’s a lot to discover as you wander through the different sitting areas and nooks. The bedrooms are comfortable, the showers are great. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook breakfast and dinner. One of my favorite moments was doing yoga on the mat provided as I gazed out on the grazing cows. Communication with the hosts was terrific, they checked in and were extremely helpful about how things in the house worked as well as where to get groceries and where to grab a good dinner. Awesome place for a family, a couple families vacationing together or a group of friends. Less than 10 minutes and you’re in downtown Woodstock. Would highly recommend and would stay again! "

"Inn was beautiful, the details exactly what you'd want for a weekend getaway. Room was cozy (room 6), bed was comfortable, jetted tub was awesome for us not having a tub at home, bar was a nice place to hang out and breakfast was excellent. Location was perfect, it was an easy walk into the center of town, even in winter. Honestly, nothing bad to say."
