Simply enter your desired dates and click 'Book Now!' Experience the best of Siesta Key mere steps from sugar-white sand and emerald waters here at Parrot Beach Cottages! Suite #1 is approximately 315 square feet - a small, fully furnished, studio-style suite that's ideal for up to two people. You'll have a king-size bed, a small full kitchen, and a tiny bathroom that consists of a single sink, a toilet, and a stand-up shower (but no bathtub). Ideally located on the ground floor of the complex next to the shared swimming pool, the suite also comes with one reserved, off-street parking spot for your ease and convenience. This studio is mere steps from one of the top white sand beaches in the world. In fact, beach access is so close, you'll hear the waves from home base! This area of the beach is a favorite for sunbathing, swimming, romantic sunset walks, small beach weddings, skim boarding, paddleboarding, kayaking, shore fishing, and much more. Fishermen catch everything from snapper and mackerel to snook and jacks. You'll be within walking distance of a number of businesses that rent all sorts of gear, from kayaks and paddleboards to bikes and video game systems. Due to how close the complex is to the beach, several rental outfitters will bring kayaks, paddleboards, and bikes right to the property and pick them up when you're done! The studio is also within easy walking distance of Siesta Key Village, where you'll find shops, restaurants, live music, and more. Or, head into town for other local adventures, including the world-renowned Ringling Museum, the Marie Selby Botanical Gardens, Mote Marine, Jungle Gardens, and outdoor shopping and dining on St. Armands Circle. Things to know: There are three other suites available to rent at the Parrot Beach Cottages fourplex - Suite #2, Suite #3, and Suite #4 Free high-speed WiFi Smoke-free property Small full Kitchen (without a dishwasher) Bedroom/living room space is small with only a few feet on each side of the bed The suite has limited storage (one small closet) Flat path to the front door; step-free access to the home, common area, bathroom, and bedroom The shower features grab bars Snowbird-friendly; please contact Vacasa for details Please note that the shared pool is small, about 15 feet by 10 feet and about four to six feet deep The overall property is very small, so there is no extra vehicle or visitor parking. There's also no nearby on-street parking. Guests love the location (truly walking distance to the beach and the village) and the more private feel of the beach, since this is a dead-end road and there is no nearby public parking There is a new home being built on the lot next door. Construction work is permitted by Sarasota County daily from 7:00am to 7:00pm. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle. This rental is located on floor 1. Please note: this home resides in a noise-sensitive area and the owners participate in our Good Neighbor protection program. Our smart home technology will alert our team if excessive decibel or occupancy levels are detected, allowing us to reach out directly with a reminder of maximum occupancy and quiet hours. After the first hour the cockroaches started coming out ( kitchen, bathroom, living space). We message the property manager and said someone would contact us. Nothing for 72 hours. Disgusting and unacceptable. We spoke with other guest from the unit and same thing. We were given 1 and 1/2 rolls of TP. When we asked for more they told us to buy our own. Stains on the comforter and pillows cases. The location was great for beach access and restroom. However the pick up and drop off at night was terrible with loud car noises. Perfect for a stay as a couple, plenty of space and good amenities. Fresh water outside to wash the sand off was a nice addition as well and much needed. We contacted the property management about possibly being able to enter the property about 20 minutes early and were told no, even though no one was working in or around the unit. So don't expect to be able to arrive a moment too early. My husband was feeling a little sick and just wanted to be inside and it wasn't possible, while still respecting the property management. Also, I understand leaving a unit respectfully clean when checking out, but the guidelines left for guests when checking out included basic housekeeping that should be included in the high cost paid for the cleaning fee when exiting. ##### Brooke S. Takes 20 seconds of walking to get to one of the nicest beaches I have experienced! My wife & I are 26 y/o celebrating our anniversary. We spent the last night on the beach looking at the stars. The unit itself could be improved. The bathroom toilet is a tight squeeze for a man, and the toilet seat was loose and had trouble flushing. The A/C is not good at all, we slept without sheets because we were very warm at night. Overall- you cannot beat this location. 3 minute walk to some incredible restaurants & the main town. They supplied plenty of towels for the beach as well! ##### Clayton C. The instructions were clear and straightforward and I was impressed by how clean it was. I will absolutely be re-booking the cottage in the future! However the area did get busy with public beach access nearby. Cute pool with outdoor shower but was also used by local kids. Unfortunately pest control treatment was scheduled during our stay and the guests upstairs had a domestic incident. But don’t let any of this deter you from booking. That was just our experience. The unit was perfect for a long weekend stay. Cleaning and maintenance people were very helpful and pleasant ##### Marsha W. Very close to the beach and a short walk away from restaurants and shops. The kitchen was handy to have for breakfast, lunch or a quick snack. Beach towels were supplied, which was nice to have. Amazing little place next to the beach. Short walk to center of town. Very clean. Functional, though small, kitchen. We mostly used the fridge and microwave. Very clean. Ideal spot if you plan on spending most of your time out, and want a convenient, safe, quiet space to spend the night. Not good for entertaining, but perfect as a base of operations for 1-2 people. ##### Scott D. We were told there was a toaster available. So we brought bread ,and bagels for breakfast and were not able to use them.There was no toaster in the unit. When I contacted the manager they said , there should be one. However, when I said that I had looked, .and found none . There was no further response. Other than that , the unit was adequate . It would be nice to have some information available on local restaurants, shopping, and attractions. Also information on how to navigate the television, would have been helpful .
