"This is a very charming B&B with an equally charming host. Our room was very comfortable and breakfast was superb. Common areas included a beautifully furnished sitting room and a billiard room. In the private yard is a sauna, hot tub, and small pool — all clean and in working order during our early June visit. Thank you, Andre!"

"Incredible stay. The room itself was very comfortable and beautiful and very clean (absolutely clean; I found no dust, hairs, or anything like that). It feels like a place personalized for your comfort and privacy. The shower got hot enough for me, which was great. I did not need to bring anything with me in terms of soap, towel, etc. The owners contacted me ahead of time to find out whether I had any dietary concerns, which was lovely since I do (lactose, gluten-intolerance, pescatarian). I did not have the breakfast but I heard it is wonderful; I did have tea and it was amazing (they have unique flavours like mango lychee!), and they always have granola bars available. The owners are incredibly helpful when I needed to get a taxi on my way out; I did not have a credit card or CAD and they exchanged some cash so that I could pay my taxi fare (this area does not have Uber or Lyft). The total invoice came out of the card used to book, which was very convenient. They are so friendly and caring; I felt like I became a better person just by having interacted with them. The area is also incredible; just ten minutes away is a beautiful area to walk (with a fountain) and lovely restaurants (I highly recommend Antidote). It does rain off-and-on so be sure to carry a light raincoat and shoes that will not soak too easily. They also do offer parking (I was asked but did not come with a car)."

"L’équipe de la réception n’a été d’aucune aide durant ce séjour. À notre arrivée à l’hôtel, on nous a attribué une chambre avec un seul lit pour deux personnes, alors que notre réservation était clairement pour une chambre avec deux lits. Malgré cette erreur, le personnel de l’accueil n’a démontré aucune empathie et n’a proposé aucune solution. Pendant que nous tentions de régler la situation avec eux, une autre cliente, qui avait entendu notre conversation, nous a généreusement offert d’échanger sa chambre avec la nôtre, puisqu’elle voyageait seule et disposait de deux lits dans sa chambre. Sans son intervention, nous serions restés sans solution mais malheureusement les deux autres personnes ont passé la nuit dans un seul lit. Autre point décevant : depuis quand doit-on payer le stationnement d’un hôtel lorsqu’il s’agit simplement d’un stationnement extérieur situé à côté de l’établissement et non d’un garage fermé? On nous a facturé 16 $ supplémentaires pour y stationner notre véhicule. Pire encore, si vous avez un véhicule électrique, on vous demande 40 $ de plus pour le recharger. Pourtant, une recharge complète avec un superchargeur coûte généralement moins de 20 $. Bref, une très mauvaise expérience. Le manque de service à la clientèle, l’absence d’empathie et les frais additionnels injustifiés ont grandement nui à notre séjour."
