Top Sheldon Hotel Reviews

Hidden Valley Animal Adventure

8/10 Good

"It is a cute, quiet and unique little place set on beautiful grounds. It is in the basement of the attraction. When we got there they had set up for a wedding the next day so the restaurant and everything was closed. We felt like we were doing something wrong walking around due to it being a paid attraction and it being closed so we sort of just drove around the area. The room is small but nice, comfortable and clean. The staff leave after hours so it's a little weird but there is a cell number to contact someone if needed. I guess my only complaint is that maybe they should give a discount to the attraction if you spend the night where there aren't any other amenities included. We had to drive a bit to find food. The safari although extra money was lovely though. I reviewed that under the safari. It was a great one time stay though and we were glad for the experience."

Roycroft Inn

8/10 Good

"The Roycroft Inn is unique and provides a respite place with history. The restaurant had excellent food that is part of the Inn. The Roycroft campus across the street is very interesting and worth a walk through and tour. The Inn has an incredible collection of arts and craft furniture in the main rooms as well as the sleeping rooms. Overall the property could use a refresh, new carpet and painting and a scrubbing. The bones of the places are great, but the interiors are tired."

Big Tree Retreat 5 Private Acres Near Highmark

10/10 Excellent

"This property was one of the very best my family has ever stayed at. The location for walking to the Bills game was perfect! The pictures on site are accurate and the interior design of the home with the Bills theme was exceptional. The coffee bar and wine fridge was amazing. The meticulous landscaped property has so many places to enjoy outside including the fire pit area, lawn snd garden area, outside garage seating area and the upstairs outside balcony perfect for morning coffee. The party barn is an extraordinary fun place for families and friends to gather and enjoy that priceless family time together. This property was Very clean and welcoming! The host responded promptly with every question. I hope to return to this beautiful property again. What a gem!!!"
