The location is okay, would recommend a car if staying in this area. They offer bike rental but we stayed here for three days and only saw one bike available. We had a nice view though. The bed and pillows are not that comfortable so bring or buy a comfortable pillow for a good sleep if you're staying for more than one night. Beds and pillows were firm and very comfortable. Onsen in room was a dream to use every night. Rooftop view from hotel was amazing. And yukatas are free to borrow. The indoor hot springs (in room) temperature was perfect, but outside terrace one was extremely hot, so hard to enjoyable. The Japanese style meals, the dinner and breakfast we select was 8/10\. All great, but the soup wasn’t my favorite, however others might like it. In my opinion, the coffee wasn’t that great, but good selection of teas. I can’t complain the staff’s service. Top notch, they will make your stay comfortable, everyone so politely kind. So, my staying at here was best experience. Another plus things was next to Hell of Beppu and has great city view.
