"I have stayed in 12 hotels on this trip, and this is the friendliest, with the kindest staff. I needed an extra pillow and they brought it to my room within a few minutes, they got me a taxi for my bus out of town, they had better then usual English understanding and treated me very well. "The staff is very nice and the location is lovely. I got a free gift (a small pouch) when I checked in. My room was spacious and had a kotatsu which I really appreciated because it got suddenly cold outside. I also was able to enjoy two really beautiful and relaxing outdoor private baths! Breakfast had an amazing view and was delicious. They even gave me a hot pack when I checked out because it was cold outside. I really like the area and I’ll definitely visit again. "

"It was a fun stay and I enjoyed my two nights here. You can choose your choice of yukatas. The onsen is well sized and clean with all the amenities you need. Breakfast was also enjoyable with many food options. Only downside was that the room's bathroom was not well maintained - there was a stale smell and mould around the edges of the bath tub, drainage was also very poor leading to pooling of water while showering. r."

"Hotel was a min away from the train and bus station and access to a variety of restaurants option. We had breakfast included and they had many choices and of high quality - you should want for naught (unless perhaps have gluten problems). In the evening they serve free freshly prepared ramen upto 11pm and then afterwards instant cup noodles. The fresh cook ramen was surprisingly good. I didn’t try the cup noodles. The room was ok - comfortable and clean. This place has a public and 8 private onsen. The hotel is very busy (cater towards tour groups) so you have to line up for the private onsen. We tried number 1 and 7\. 7 is better but both were nice for a soak. Overall not a luxurious hotel but a very nice/good hotel in good condition. The folks coming to this hotel as part of a tour group are lucky! "

"We stayed Sora tradition western style, room is spacious, clean, and provides good amenities - like best face soap & moisturizer face creams, top of line hair dryer, Yukata, indoor & out door slippers, toothbrush with paste. I don’t have to pack anything. They provide for you. Only thing missing was body lotion. The indoor hot springs (in room) temperature was perfect, but outside terrace one was extremely hot, so hard to enjoyable. The Japanese style meals, the dinner and breakfast we select was 8/10\. All great, but the soup wasn’t my favorite, however others might like it. In my opinion, the coffee wasn’t that great, but good selection of teas. I can’t complain the staff’s service. Top notch, they will make your stay comfortable, everyone so politely kind. So, my staying at here was best experience. Another plus things was next to Hell of Beppu and has great city view. "
