« A really lovely and relaxing place to spend a few days whilst visiting the game reserves. Very attentive staff, a large and comfy bedroom A lookout deck, pool, hammock and outdoor seating area are all lovely, and would be fabulous in warmer weather. Three course dinner (set menu) was delicious and all home-prepared on site. The dining room is also very nice, and we were seated right by the fire - very welcome in August. The shower did go cold on us twice, but I think in winter it's harder...

« Eine Location mit sehr viel Charme, tollem Ranger Clifford, freundlichsten Personal, auch wenn die Eintichtungen etwas „in die Jahre“ gekommen sind. Für die Anfahrt über die letzten 14 km unbefestigte Straße sind sicher 30 min Autofahrt einzuplanen. Diese Straße muss man auch zurück, wenn der Nationalpark besucht wird. »

« You’re right on the edge of the best reserve in the area & the game drives are all on the Shamwari Game Reserve. These are better than we ever expected & our ranger/guide, Cillia, was the best! Daniel at the Lodge managed everything for us & was always there for our needs, nothing was too much trouble & he ensured everything ran like clockwork. Cynthia was brilliant, always smiling and calm, Ntombi was also excellent and helped us with our questions about local culture. Overall superb! »

« Die Unterkunft war so wie beschrieben und auf den Bildern zu sehen. Pro Übernachtung gibt es einen Game Drive von je 3 Stunden nachmittags und morgens. Rogan war ein toller, engagierter Fahrer und Guide, auch wenn es nur Big 4 statt 5 waren, war es ein unvergessliches Erlebnis. »
