"Bukela is a beautiful stay, facilities are great, friendly staff and our ranger (Sim) was very knowledgeable. Foodwise is really below average, just not good especially for a 5* resort. Due to this matter i will not likely to visit Bukela again nor reconmend to anyone which is regretful as the staff and facilities...

"The reserve has comfortable chalets. The game drives were amazing thou sometimes were felt borderline dangerous due to very close encounters with lions and especially with the large herd of elephants with babies, that became agitated by our car proximity. Fortunately, all encounters ended peacefully. Our guide/driver Brendon had 21 years of experience in the reserve, thanks to him we had unforgettable experience of finding and meting almost all the species in reserve, as I mentioned mostly face to face: lions (full family of 7), elephants, buffalos, rhinos, hippos (that's 4 out of big 5), not to mention zebras, elands, springboks, wildebeests, herds of giraffes to mention a few. Would recommend visiting the reserve, We spent there full 2 days what was more than enough to not repeat same experiences, if we were staying longer."
