The pics of exterior are beautiful. The staff do their best (we only interacted w the reception). Food looked excellent on the menu - we did not try it as the kitchen was closed. The interior, of our junior suite room (w sea view) was massively outdated, bubble spa in the corner tower missing the view (?) and w/o ventilation. Carpets that you question in which decade they were cleaned last time, sink in a cupboard and the same w the toilet
The place and setting is beautiful and has massive potential. Would benefit from a significant update. Etretat is fine for its “hole in the rock” for the impressionist painters. Our impression was that it is a bit of a tourist trap - then again, different people have just as different tastes. Some could find it all very charming. We did not.
