Perth County Inn

8/10 Good

"This is a very cute and quaint place to rest your head. Situated right off one of the main drags, with hallway access to a bar and an excellent cafe/bakery. Somehow Expedia booked us a room that wasn't ready, so we're surprised when we arrived (no front desk, keyless access) to find out room in disarray. However, we called the number for the "manager on-site", and the room was perfectly ready before we were even done dinner. We even received a friendly follow-up email checking up on us. The only drawback was the noise from the bar crowd (which didn't really last long ). Otherwise, well done! We'd definitely return."

Rodeway Inn Festival

10/10 Excellent

"We visited Stratford to see a play and stayed overnight at the Rodeway Inn. The front staff was courteous and friendly, The room was clean and comfortable. The bed in particular was very comfortable and the bathroom clean. Ample parking and close by to many eating establishments and shopping, Also close to the theatre. A good option when in Stratford."

Bentley's Inn

10/10 Excellent

"Overall, I really enjoyed our stay at Bentley's. Location is perfect. It's downtown, there is free parking out back, and the restaurant and bar is great. The people at the desk also work the bar, and they're very friendly and knowledgeable. Rooms have deadbolts, not cards, so you get a key to your room. The room we had was absolutely pristine--no dust, carpet stains, bad smells, or anything else, nicely decorated and equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, dishes, silverware and glasses, coffee and tea, plus dish soap and cloths to wash up. The TV has plenty of channels, both Canadian and US, and wifi is available. There are plenty of places to hang up things or put them in a dresser. Our room had lots of space, with two extra twin beds upstairs, so a family or group of 4 would not be crowded, except for one toilet. A couple of drawbacks about the room. Our room had no windows. There is a skylight that keeps the room light during the day, but there is also no way to block incoming light at night, and the skylight is partially above the bed. Bring an eye mask if night light bothers you. I forgot mine. Also, if you don't do well with stairs, the rooms at Bentley's may not suit you, as they are all upstairs, above the bar and restaurant, and there is no elevator. Also, our room had only an upstairs bathroom, which was also a challenge, especially at night. The bathroom has a nice, new shower and plenty of hot water, as well as shampoo, conditioner and soap, however."
