"I cannot say enough about Laura and her hospitality. We walked out of a distasteful booking on Agoda due to deceptive information and found IlBorgo on Hotels. Laura bent over backward to make us comfortable. The rooms and views were perfect and her hospitality the same. She arranged for parking 200 yds away across from church as our car was not allowed in neighborhood. "
"Fantastic b and b right in the centre of the old town. Faultless service from start to finish.
Room was spacious with a little balcony. Kitchen was an added bonus. The whole team were really friendly and helpful which added to our overall experience. Great breakfast every morning. We ate at the restaurant which serves great food. Overall really enjoyed our stay here and will come back. "
"Add described a "cooked to order breakfast" but was instead given a basket of packaged food... Not really the same thing. The heating doesn't circulate in the room so it was quite cold. But a nice area with a pretty good view of the ocean!"
"Scilla is a lovely little town in a good location for some places that we needed to visit. La Lacondiera was quite nice for a B&B in a tiny town. We had a fine room with a sweet tiny balcony with a lovely view. They were very helpful with a few unexpected problems that had nothing to do with them! We may have been the only ones there in Nov. since they set the breakfast buffet only when we said we would be downstairs for it. There is no one there after dark and you use your own key for the front...

"Lovely breakfast! A safe and clean hotel in a convenient location. "
"The sea view was charming at night once the people in front of the hotel went home. Very helpful and corteous staff. Unfortunately the air-conditioning system did not work well, the room stayed at 26.8° and so we ended up opening the window, which meant we could hear the traffic outside."

"We enjoyed a laid back stay at this beachfront property with amazing sea views. The rooms were clean and functional and bed was comfortable. We enjoyed drinks and meals in a relaxed dining room/bar with a background of soft jazz music, beach views and the sound of the waves. Menu featured fresh fish of the day, pasta dishes and great panini.
The service was very friendly and accommodating. The owner, Aldo was on the premises daily and offered a late check at no extra charge as well as assistance booking electric golf cart transport. He and the staff were very kind and attentive.
If you enjoy a relaxed vibe, easy access to lidos or free beach and a comfortable setting to unwind, I highly recommend this place. Location can’t be beat- right across from train station. Grazie mille Aldo and staff for an great stay!"
"Checkin was great reception friendly and helpful
Room seemed ok at first. Old fashioned but functional. However on going to bed putting the air conditioner on the noise was terrible. Could not get wifi to work tried to call reception the phone did not work. So no sleep no wifi and broken phone. The next morning on check out reported to reception response was why didn’t you check when you first went to the room if you had we would have offered another room. Told WiFi is only in common areas! I found the fact they expect the paying guest to check the room odd I have never gone into a hotel room with a check list before and never will these thing should be checked by housekeepers not the guest. Should we have gone to the night reception and complained yes but we were already changed when we discovered the problems. As for this being a four star hotel I hear stayed in better 2 or 3 stars this is no way a 4 star. This hotel should be removed from your site as I feel it is mis- represented
Even the bed sheets had holes in it "
