"The staff is very friendly. The location is amazing to walk to the most beautiful parts of tropea is only a few minutes away. We booked the suite. This is an underground room with no ventilation and air conditioning was broken. We couldn’t sleep all night from how hot and stuffy it was in the room even though the weather outside was not warm. There was no draw sheet on the mattress and we found a cockroach in our room. We could have left the sliding door open for some air however that would have felt unsafe. We would have been better off with a regular room since those have windows. There’s also no designated parking so we spent 30 euros paying for parking for one night. This property was ok and definitely not what I expected of a 4 star rated hotel. This must be an old rating. "
