« Rooms were very clean. Comfortable beds! The only thing I feel would make this motel more accommodating would be some type of continental breakfast. Even if it was something small like muffins, donuts, fruit or even yogurt. It’s nice to just have something other than coffee. »

« This is an entire small house. Not that small actually. Everything you need and then some. We really needed to do laundry on our long roadtrip and were able to use the washer and dryer m-great help. Huge TV with streaming. Also a driveway where you can back right up to the entry door…sweet. Didn’t have time to enjoy the hot tub but would be a nice feature. Loved the fenced in back yard as we are traveling with the dog. Wish we could have stayed longer. »

« The property was clean and the recent improvements were very nice. The amenities were complete with nice extra touches. The location was great and you could watch giant freighters go by your backyard. It is not handicap accessible. »

« Welcoming home on the river. Comfortable beds, enjoyed being right on the river. 2 long ships passed by while we were there. Nice to have laundry and full kitchen. Only stayed one night on our trip around Lake Superior. If we had stayed longer would have tried the sauna and back yard amenities. Would stay again if in the area. »

« This home/apartment is so nice. It's beautifully done. The Host provides everything you could need. We felt so comfortable when relaxing at home. It's also so easy to get to Sault Ste Marie and only 20 minutes to Brimley. We enjoyed the short drive back home after a day of fun. We definitely recommend staying here. »

« I am so happy I discovered The Ash. The price was comparable to the big chain hotels in the area, and the additional space to spread out made me feel at home. I was very comfortable there. Like the owners, I love the romance of these old motor court-style motels, and I love what they've done to bring new life to this charming property. If I ever return to the Soo this is definitely my go-to vacation home. »

« Very nice place to stay. The house had anything you could possible need and the host checked in to make sure we got in fine and then part way through stay to see if we needed anything. Very happy with stay and would stay here again. »
