"PERFECT place to stay while in the area. Central to all the tourist sites. Bonus for me, I grew up in a small house across the lake from this cabin! It felt like I went back in time 50 years! I would highly recommend a stay here! Very clean, comfortable beds and stocked thoughtfully. I hope my sister and I can come stay again someday."

"The one-room cabin was overall wonderful. The view of the Trout Lake is beautiful, and the cabin is centrally located for any destination you want to get to. The host was polite, and answered every question or concern we had almost immediately. The little heater in the bathroom was a big plus. Towels and blankets were plentiful and the entire cabin was cleaned with some cooking utensils which made making dinner easy. Overall amazing stay!"

"We had a very nice stay in this cabin! The house was very cozy. Location was great as we visited Tahquamenon falls to hike. Sitting out by the fire pit late at night was also a highlight of our weekend!"

"We loved everything about our stay. We had gone up to go to the I-500, but decided to stay right where we were, it was so peaceful and lovely. The host is most generous and very hospitable. "The property was just as listed. Nice space for a large group of women. We didn't need to use the cute little stove as the weather was warm. Two of us used the screened-in porch as a bedroom--such a nice view of the stars and great breezes! Kitchen was perfect for light cooking--everything there for our needs. Plenty of towels! Even plenty of hot water for showers--for a big group!"

"We enjoyed the picturesque view of Lake Superior and watching the barges float by. Scott and Eva greeted us upon arrival and gave us all the information needed. There is plenty of space to relax! If you are a rock hound, there are plenty of beautiful rocks all over the beach. The lighthouse is just a short walk from the cabin and worth checking out. There isn’t alot of grocery stores or restaurants, so make sure you pack food 😃"

"The cabin was stocked with anything you might need, aside from your food and toiletries. The hosts were quick to respond when we had a small issue and they resolved it quickly. We saw ducks, geese, deer and chipmunks during our 4 day stay. We had a relaxing stay and would stay again."

"Large house with lots of room! We are a family of 7 and there was definitely room for more. The views are great and falling asleep with the windows open listening to the waves was perfect! The house is under a bit of construction but we didn’t mind, nothing that prevents you from living life normally. The yard is in need of a clean up but again nothing that prevents you from living life. The beach is beautiful!!"

"We loved the house and all of its charm. The view was amazing. Loved watching the freighters on their way to/from the Locks. We were there during both hot days (85) & cold (40). The ceiling fans kept the place very comfortable during the heat & the furnace kept us cozy when the weather turned. Great location with an amazing view! Convenient to gas, places to eat, groceries, and more. Host was responsive & helpful. We would love to return again!"
