« Pretty clean, except for a dead spider on the floor and a tiny ant on the wall near the door. Check in was quick and easy. Beds comfortable. Needs more towels and a towel rack by the sink. A little road noise from highway but not bad. Driving distance to restaurants. No breakfast. Coffee in room. »

« The motel is next to a very scenic portion of Lake Superior. The location is superlative. We had a river view room. Room was spacious and very clean. The front desk was very helpful and waited till 11pm for the late check-in. »

« If you are looking for 50's cabin nastalgia, this is the place to go. Reminded me of the cabins we stayed in during my childhood. Room was clean, however no place to hang clothes. It was fine for a weekend stay. »
