Just a short drive from The Crossing resort on the Icefields Parkway is the Howse Pass Viewpoint, you can just relax here and watch the Saskatchewan River flow through the valley. There is also a hike here but it’s a 24km gruelling one for the fit! #Nature

As we left the snowy, wet, cloudy mountains of the Columbia Icefields Parkway behind, and turned east towards the praiaires of Alberta, we were greeted with beautiful, warm sunshine! This shot was taken somewhere east of Saskachewan River Crossing along the David Thompson Highway (HWY 11).

Great little hidden gem!! Perfect for groups. Loved the suite aspect, getting to have lots of room, 2 separate bedrooms, kitchen/dishwasher etc. Excellent value. Only complaint is that one of the hot tubs wasn’t warm at all, but the other one was fine (not overly hot but definitely good enough!)
