"The host was very helpful and reliable. Many examples: our flight kept changing hours and he ended up welcoming us on Christmas day at midnight. He reminded us that stores are closed and offered to buy groceries for us when we were emailing him from London (The host answers almost within the minute which is very helpful when you're having problems with an airline). "Excellent location about 15 mins from old town by bus. Many restaurants in the neighborhood and two large grocery stores within 2-3 blocks. The apartment is perfect with nice balcony and terrace looking out to the sea. A construction site in front of the complex can be noisy during the day however. The only negative are the beds which were too soft for my taste."

"Immaculately kept residence in a very good area with excellent transport links into Funchal centre. Very friendly and helpful staff and the rooms are very comfortable, spacious and have great views. The buffet breakfast was plentiful and delicious and the waiting staff were helpful and pleasant and the main pool and pool areas were spacious with plenty of sun beds available. Very enjoyable stay and we would love to return one day in the near future."

"This is the second year we have stayed with Miguel Filipe and his associates having visited Funchal several times previously. For us the apartment is well located, adjacent to the Forum Shopping Centre and with convenient bus stops too and fro central Funchal. Likewise good local eating establishments. Well furnished and equipped with good security to the premises - all-in-all it was good to know what we were coming to and let us rest easy. We hope to be back again next year!"

"Stayed here last week and had a nice time… the property definitely could be cleaner. We arrived to food smeared on the cupboards, no top sheets, dirty couch and pillows. The location is great however, and there is easy street parking that is free. The deck and view are amazing. Overall our stay was pleasant but if you’re looking for a super clean and polished property, this is not it. Also had to coordinate with the owners brother to get the key which I found a little strange."
