Do not book this hotel. There was zero hot water on any of the days, and on our last day there was no water at all. Took over an hour first morning to get our breakfast (eggs and toast) which came out cold. Weak lukewarm instant coffee! Second morning no better, we asked for hot water to use our own Starbucks instant coffee, and again, only lukewarm.

The location was great and very convenient. Unfortunately, our apartment faced the main street, so there was quite a bit of traffic and street noise, especially at night. It did make it difficult to sleep, so if you’re a light sleeper, I would recommend requesting an apartment away from the main street.

We had a wonderful stay here. The view, location, the staff and the amazing breakfast makes this place a standout. We were fortunate to be able to stay here for 4 nights and would have loved to stay longer. It has everything you need with the beach and wildlife literally at your door step. Shirley and the staff were great. Always a whatsapp message away with any questions we had. I truly can't recommend this place enough!

"I loved absolutely everything about the Maidith. The rooms are impeccable, the breakfast was delicious, the proprietors made us feel at home. He gave us great advice about tours, places to go and things to do. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Puerto Ayora!"
