Sandcastles by the Sea 402 - Sandcastle living is the best way to spend a beach vacation! Sandcastles by the Sea is a quaint condo rental located in Blue Mountain Beach on Scenic Highway 30A. Only a short distance from the crystalline shores of the Gulf Coast, it is the ideal place for a relaxing coastal vacay. The condo’s interiors feature sand-toned walls and coastal decor, which keep your mind in the beach zone. With three bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, and comfortable living space, this vacation rental can accommodate up to eight visitors. An open living room creates a cozy gathering place on the main floor. It features a seating area made up of a beige sleeper sofa, a matching love seat, and a patterned armchair situated around a rug and drink table. The arrangement faces a flatscreen TV mounted above an elegant credenza. A set of sliding glass doors filter in warm sunlight and lead to a breezy balcony. A raised table and four chairs create a relaxed place for guests to enjoy the Florida air and coastal breezes. The balcony extends across the front of the condo to the dining area, where another set of glass doors lead back inside. The colorful dining room features a glass-topped table, six chairs, and a hanging chandelier. A large, open kitchen overlooks the dining and living rooms. It includes a breakfast bar with three raised chairs, granite countertops, and everything needed for fun culinary delights. Upstairs, the cottage-style master bedroom has a king-size bed, bedside tables and dressers, a private bathroom with a walk-in shower, and access to a romantic balcony. Both guest bedrooms offer a relaxed feel. Each has a queen-size bed, a flatscreen TV, and share a full hall bath with a tub-shower combination. In addition to comfortable accommodations, guests who stay at Sandcastles by the Sea enjoy other perks. You have access to a community pool, as well as BBQ grills. The beach access is only a couple minute walk from the rental. Blue Mountain Beach itself is also the perfect setting for a beach vacation, featuring a laidback atmosphere with convenient shops and restaurants. You can also walk to bakery, Ice creamery and restaurants. Disappointed in master bath as shower door was broken and in desperate need of updating. Kitchen could use a deep clean and there were bugs on the counter every day. Also if it is raining you can’t sit on covered patio as rain runs through the covering so you’ll get wet. Then we discovered an exploded Dr Pepper in the freezer. But after a couple of calls, somebody came pretty quickly to fix things even though it was already quite late (9pm). We then enjoyed our stay very much (even though the water hoses in the washer were connected wrong, and somebody had to come out again the next morning). ##### Birgit R. A bit outdated but I love that this place is only a walking distance from the beach. So we didn't have to worry about finding a place to park. The only downside is the pull out couch is broke. The decor and Interior is somewhat dated, but the condo had everything we needed for a week at the beach. I did not give 5 stars because 1\. The upstairs is warm... there is one unit for the condo. We would freeze downstairs but could not get it cool enough at night. 2\. The master shower did not feel clean, there was some mold in the tiles and sliding doors. The beach entrance doesn’t have much parking and there is no ramp. The condo is clean. I’ve stayed at condos before that provided condiments and seasoning, this was empty. The unit is quiet mostly. The pics online seemed photoshopped, but they’re accurate. Very clean, nicely furnished place. The location was excellent, the building and patio deck cover your car so no rain/mist or even salt spray.
