Great stay at Lanou Hotel in Beijing! The location is fantastic—close to many popular attractions, which made sightseeing so easy. The front desk staff were super friendly and check-in was very efficient. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. As a business traveler, I really appreciated the smooth experience. Firstly, I was booking non smoking room but it was smoking smell in the room while I checked room 1218, although I have double check with the staff before checking in. I talked about the issue to the front desk then asking me to move to 1607 ( non smoking room) on the second day. I have spent time to move this 1607 by myself. Finally, this room was ok. Secondly, regarding swimming pool, they asked the guest to purchase their swimming cap to swimming, guest cannot swimming without swimming cap. But no any notice to let us know while we booked the room regarding swimming cap. It was unreasonable request to the guest. We already spent decent money for staying this hotel, their services value must match their fees. Plus, the swimming pool is a third party operating not belongs pan pacific hotel Beijing. If we know this before, we would not book this kind of hotel. Should be clearly to the agreement otherwise will be deem breach agreement.Overall, the stay for this time was ok only. I hope that they can apologize for this unexpected experience. Thank you!

This hotel is hard to locate, you have to enter where a Starbucks is and it is across the hall, my only issue with my stay here was finding it. Anna and Mia at the desk were fantastic. The hotel has water, coffee and tea. Beds and baths are very nice. The hotel is on a street that is walkable with subway stations withing a few mins. Absolutely would stay here again.
