San Jose Vacation Packages

Great location, next to a mercado with Asado (BBQ) dining options and shops. Walkable to supermarket, pedestrian mall and Ferry terminal and old town, tourist information centre Reception desk good English and helpful. Good quality breakfast, service took a bit too long.

The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, the staff was very friendly and helpful

The hotel itself is lovely and in a great location, however, our check-in was something else altogether. We’d booked their best room but on arrival were taken to a lower grade room; after checking photos online to make sure I was correct, I went back to reception to query this. I was told they’d look into it, so headed back to the room expecting to be moved to the correct room within minutes. I eventually went back to reception again to find out what was taking so long, only to be told that for the rate I’d paid, I couldn’t have booked their best room….even though my confirmation (and related photos) showed that I had. Begrudgingly they allowed us to move to the confirmed room; a complete waste of the best part of an hour when we wanted to be enjoying the last of the afternoon sun, and absolutely not good customer service.
