We love the location of playa mazatlan and its beach but the hotel is starting to look run down. We had the balcony ocean view room and although the view was great and the room in theory clean it was run down. There was mold on the walls & curtains. Staff as always were friendly and helpful.

The rooms were hot - you cannot adjust the air conditioner to further cool the room. The lazy river was inoperable until our last day of an 8 day trip. Also you cannot swim in the ocean at the resort in any day because of rip tides (according to signage) On a positive note - the massages at the spa were great, a few employees were friendly and tried really hard to to go above and beyond. The restaurant meals were delicious with the exception of the buffet.

"Excellent service but the person in the pool the works like security they are annoying my daughter was crying and they where asking why she is crying like is not their bussiness.. And my daughter when to the playground the they have in the pool and they told me no adult are allow there and my daughter ..."
