"The area was nice and checking in was easy. The rooms were spacious but sheets were a bit dirty and the room was incredibly hot upon arrival. Overall, I would stay here again due to great service and friendly staff."

Freehand Los Angeles

Freehand Los Angeles

8/10 Good
"Style over substance but that’s ok! I don’t usually book downtown when visiting LA, but had an event nearby. That said, because of how insanely loud it is around this hotel, be sure to pack earplugs. I was all the way on the 7th floor and it was jarring. The room itself was relatively clean and decorated well with a great bay window and warm lighting. That and the great water pressure in the shower were my favorite parts. I appreciated that the mini fridge worked. But the bed and the sheets were pretty bad. Super stiff and uncomfortable and very low to the floor. Overall it wasn’t a bad stay, but I value my sleep too much, so next time I’ll try another spot."
