« This is not an apartment in Portobelo like the map indicates. It's a house about a mile outside of town and it's a bit rundown. The AC can't keep up with the heat and the entire house has a slight musty smell. I left 2 weeks ago and I still can't get the musty smell out of my CPAP machine. We left early after only 2 nights because the house was so hot and and uncomfortable. The host was great. Very friendly and responsive and he provided great information on local attractions, but he was...

"Nous avons adoré notre séjour à Gamboa, c'était la dernière nuit de notre voyage et la cerise sur le gâteau. Nous avons eu une chambre avec vue sur le lac. La chambre est immense, la clim très efficace. En plus du prix de la nuit qui comprenais le ptt dejeuner, nous avons prix le forfait à 55$/pers pour le buffet du soir et du lendemain midi et payé 22$ pour 2h de late check out.Les buffets étaient très corrects au niveau des plats. Ma seule critique porte sur l'absence de fruits en dessert. Il n'y a des fruits qu'au petit déjeuner. Les jardins sont immenses, il y a plusieurs sentiers de rando directement depuis les jardins. La balade de nuit en mini-bus est super sympa. Elle est gratuite, dure 30mn toutes les 2h. Comme il y a avait de la place nous en avons enchainé 2 et vu paresseux, tortue, croco, oiseaux, peccari...Nous avons également participé à l'activité sur les paresseux ou nous avons aussi vu des grenouilles, des papillons et plein de plantes. La piscine est chaude et immense. N'hésitez pas à aller visite le Summit parc et zoo juste à coté pour voir une harpie féroce."
