"We really enjoyed our time at this home. Although the house is small, it is very clean and comfortable. They have thought of everything, including plenty of hooks to dry towels or bathing suits, a nice welcome book with any information you may need, and a very well equipped kitchen. The best part was the outside space and dock. Our boys (and us!) enjoyed jumping from the second story of the dock, and we never could make it to the bottom to touch! No grass or mud kicking your feet is a plus! The stairs into the water were easy and comfortable, compared to a typical ladder that can hurt your feet. The walk up and down the stairs definitely had us breathing heavily, but not enough to stop us from enjoying it. The shade covers the dock in the evening and the weather couldn’t have been better. We went tubing in Helen, about an hour away. Also, went north about 1 hour and 45 minutes to a rock slide, in Brevard NC! It’s the perfect location to explore mountains and the lake alike. The hosts went above and beyond to ensure our stay exceeded expectations. Highly recommend!"

"Very beautiful property the lawn was very clean and tidy. easy access to the lake. The location isn’t far off from the downtown area which was very neat. There is also a small stand that sells eggs, honey, etc as soon as you turn on to tom Cobb all local and fresh. The trip all together was perfect and 10/10 would recommend staying here!! Ps do watch for deer/wildlife my sister in law hit one maybe a mile from property. "
