Terrific staff; lovely clean renovated rooms

We really liked the place which was a newly built. The room was comfortable, the bathroom huge with not only a shower but a jacuzzi as well. The kitchenette had everything one needed and of course, you get a container with fresh milk. The staff was welcoming and helpful finding a good diner. Parking is free. Just a great place to stay. Would book it again if in the area.

I had the sweetest stay at Shami and Dave’s home. It was exactly what I needed and in the perfect location. The breakfast provided was so nourishing and fresh. As well, the rooms are so so cozy and make you feel right at home. It’s also close to so many activities and beautiful scenery. I will definitely stay here again when back in Rotorua!

Everything was great! The lady who runs the place was very helpful. The place is very well maintained & the facilities are terrific. You can also use the connected hotel pool. Great value for the price.

Such a beautiful property. The room and added perks (heated towel rack and bathroom floors) were second to none! The staff was so friendly and focus on making it a perfect stay. We wish we stayed more than one night to take advantage of dinner and amenities. We drove from picton on way to auckland so arrived late and left early! If we ever come back we will stay longer for sure!!

Everything about this resort was exceptional!

The host and hostess were fantastic and accommodating. You could tell they were extremely proud of their property and it showed. They were very knowledgeable and helpful. The morning breakfast was exceptional with again great care taken in providing guests with variety and home made preserves. I would highly recommend this property.

Clean room parking available staff were very friendly.

Unique property

We were thoroughly surprised with the spaciousness off the room as well as the updated and modern feel of the fixtures! It made for a really stress free and relaxing atmosphere after a day of sightseeing. The staff were equally communicative, friendly, and professional. We took full advantage of the in suite washing machine, tennis court, and ping pong table. We would definitely stay here again!

This was an excellent hotel with amazing staff and a perfect location

Had a nice stay at Aura Accommodation. Room was clean and we had everything to make coffee in the mornings. We arrived late but they set things up so we could do a self check-in, worked perfectly. Hotel is just a short walk to Eat Streat with a multitude of restaurants to choose from. FYI, some rooms (like ours) have a large sliding patio door instead of a regular one. Worked fine, but was felt odd at first. Nevertheless, would stay here again.

Well appointed. Quiet. Friendly owners. Only drawback is a long walk to restaurants, but if it was closer it woudn't be as quiet!

Staff were friendly. Good location. We'll equipped rooms and the spa tub was wonderful after a long day of sight seeing.

The Sport of Kings motel was a pleasant surprise after 20 hours of travelling from Canada. The layout of the rooms very clever. As a family with 2 boys aged 7 and 9 we appreciated the separate rooms, beds, kitchen and they loved spending time in the spa bath. The pool was nice too and the hotel well situated close to Whaka. The owners were extremely helpful and welcoming too.

Excellent service and delicious breakfast
