"Our room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel was in a great location. It was easy to find off the main road with grocery, gas, and meals adjacent to the property. We had a nice complimentary breakfast. We were in and out and didn't have a lot of contact with the staff, but they were attentive at the desk and in the kitchen area. I would stay there again."

"This place is a gem in the woods! Barb quickly replied to every question we had before we arrived, and we had no need to contact her after we arrived as the home was clean, well-stocked and exactly as described. Since we were only three, we had plenty of room for all of us. Deer visited us a couple of days and we enjoyed sitting on the front porch every morning. Stewartville was only a few minutes away for needed groceries. We spent most of our time with family in Rochester, but did explore one of the several hiking trails on the grounds - we could have spent a great deal more time there. We are thinking about it as a potential winter retreat as the house itself is very comfortable. Highly recommend!"
